JS8SPOTTER SETTINGS

If you are not using JS8Spotter (https://kf7mix.com/js8spotter.html), I highly recommend it although I must admit I did not see it's additive value to JS8Call initially.
The added value is not the FORMS it can process, but the EXPECT codes that can be used to extend your "Auto Response" capabilities, allowing your station to operate as a Bulletin Board repository of sorts that others can draw from if they know the E? CODE to use.
So how does one know that codes are stored on my system to withdraw the corresponding information from on-air?
There is ONE STANDARD EXPECT CODE described in the programs documentation and that is: E? CMDS which stand for "commands" and in JS8Spotter this EXPECT should be filled with ALL the EXPECTS that you want the general public to know about and then placed in your JS8Call "Station Info" so those asking for >INFO? will know what's available to them.
The beauty of the system is that they don't need to have JS8Spotter to get the information as it's feeding the EXPECTS to JS8Call automatically, so no need to be at your station.
example: My "Station Info" has the following in it.
FOR AVAILABLE INFO: SEND "E? CMDS"
Once the inquiring station does this, they get what I have placed in the CMDS expect in JS8Spotter which is the following:
SEND "E? " FOLLOWED BY ONE OF THE FOLLOWING: "PNWNET" FOR NET INFO, "NETFLW" FOR NETFLOW, "PNWSUM" FOR THE LAST NETS SUMMARY
E? PNWNET
Anyone wanting to spread the word of the net on-air and using JS8Spotter should put the following "expect" into their system if using the CQCQCQ message above.
@PNW NET IS A DIRECTED NET THAT MEETS ON 7090MHz DAILY AT 0200z - MORE INFO IS LOCATED AT HTTPS://PNWMINUTEMAN.COM/S/PNW-JS8CALL-NET
E? PNWSUM
This holds the Net Summary for the last net. If everyone puts this in their expects, then anyone can see what they missed from any station that was there until the next time. Be sure to date/time stamp it though!
